Everything AGNow does works in this browser. The desktop apps do the same things in a window made of ordinary controls, which some people would rather read than a web page.
It needs Windows 10 or newer, and nothing else installed. It talks to whichever screen reader you already have running — NVDA, JAWS, Narrator — and falls back to SAPI if none is.
It keeps itself up to date: it checks this server when it starts, downloads a new version in the background, and offers to install it when you are not in the middle of a game. Say no and it installs the next time you open it instead. So this is the only time you have to come here for it.
It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other Mac application: no right-clicking, no warning about an unidentified developer, and nothing to turn off in Security settings.
Speech goes through VoiceOver when VoiceOver is running, and through a voice of its own when it is not.
There is no automatic update yet, so a new version means coming back here for it.
There is no app for Linux. Play here in your browser instead — the site is the whole thing: the games, voice chat, taking control, replays and saved data, and Orca reads all of it.
There was an app, and it was discontinued on 15 August 2026. If you have it installed it will go on working, and it will not be updated again.
The iOS app is a public beta through TestFlight, Apple's own way of handing out apps before they are on the App Store. Anybody can join — there is no invitation to ask for and no limit on places.
It needs iOS 16 or newer, and works the same on an iPad. Speech goes through VoiceOver, and the game screen is a direct-interaction surface, so your gestures reach the game instead of being taken by VoiceOver first.
TestFlight tells you when there is a new version and installs it for you, so this is the only time you have to come here for it.
Speech goes through TalkBack when TalkBack is running, and through a voice of its own when it is not — which is what happens when the screen is off, where an audiogame usually is. AGNow uses whichever synthesiser your phone is set to, not its own choice, and you can pick a different one in its settings.
To play by gesture, turn on AGNow game pad in the phone's accessibility settings. It is what hands your swipes and taps to the game instead of to TalkBack, and only over the pad on the game screen. Everything else in the app works without it.
AGNow checks for a new version when you open it and offers to install it, so this is the only time you have to come here for it.
